Welcome to Farm Friends

Farm Friends is a wrap around care service comprising a Breakfast Club and After School Club. Farm Friends is based on the Greentrees Infant School site. We cater for up to 30 children. We run the service from the Pre-school and Farm Friends mobile building. This building is used by Pre-school during school hours and by Farm Friends before school and after school.

 

Opening Times

The Breakfast Club operates from 07.45am until 08.45am. The children are provided with a healthy breakfast including cereals, toast and fresh fruit.

The After School Club operates from 3.00pm until 6.00pm Monday to Thursday and 3.00pm until 5.00pm on Friday. The children are offered a healthy snack during the afternoon session. A range of age appropriate activities take place, making the most of the inside and outside space available.

Walking Bus

Junior children use the ‘walking bus’, which is facilitated by Greentrees School, to escort children from the Junior site to Farm Friends.

Fees

The cost of Farm Friends per child is:

 

Breakfast Club, 7.45-8.45am: £6.00

​

After School Club, 3.00-4.00pm: £6.00

After School Club, 3.00-5.00pm: £10.20

After School Club, 3.00-6.00pm: £15.00

 

Payment for the After School Club is on a session basis, regardless of what time the child is collected, within that session.

 

Bookings

A Junior child’s fee also starts from 3.00pm as Farm Friends are operating the Walking Bus. We operate a system of either block bookings, whereby you can book your child/ren into Farm Friends for all or certain sessions in advance or you can use Farm Friends on a more flexible arrangement and book occasional sessions, as long as there are spaces. Flexible bookings will have to be arranged at least 24 hours in advance. All children using Farm Friends will need to be registered with Farm Friends before they can start.

 

4 weeks term time notice will need to be given when changing permanent sessions.
