Piglets topic has been Old MacDonald’s Farm. They’ve tasted different vegetables you’d get on a farm. Decorated Old MacDonald, a large chick and little lambs. Salisbury Pantry
You may have already heard that Salisbury City Council have opened up a community shop called Salisbury Pantry. Based in Catherine street Your Salisbury Pantry has been set up to help families and individuals from the Salisbury City Parish area who are in receipt of benefits, on a low wage or struggling to buy food or pay bills. Camp Fire
The children made their own fire using large Lego blocks. They stacked them one on top of the other for the fire then decided they wanted to toast marshmallows on it. They sang ‘Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star as their marshmallows were toasting. Fantastic imagination, teamwork and decision making. A brilliant activity completely child initiated!!!


The Smartest Giant in Town
Lambs book of the week was The Smartest Giant in Town by Julia Donaldson. The children enjoyed the story joining in with the rhyming words. They chose various coloured and patterned card, then cut out and stuck together their crowns, hung the washing on the line, cut out outfits and dressed their own giants, plus cut out and decorated the giants tie.
