Today we have been celebrating Australia Day. The children have decorated their own boomerang, coloured and cut out their own Australian flag and made Koala Bear faces. These activities have all needed good fine motor skills, picking up the rice and grain, holding pencils and scissors and making the faces of their Koalas.
This week we are celebrating Winnie the Pooh! 🐻
So today the children painted their own Pooh Bears, and had honey and bread at snack. At group time we watched a Winnie the Pooh cartoon. The children all recognised him saying ‘he’s on my picture’ 🐻🍯
We had an unexpected visitor come in to keep out of the rain today! Turned out this little one had been missing from home for 9 months and thanks to the local vets has now been reunited with their owner.
I would just like to inform you of some changes being made at Pre-school.
As of tomorrow, Monday 11th January, I will be joining both Piglets and Lambs together into one class for the rest of this half term.
The reason for this is, I want to keep my children, my staff and their families safe, and with our numbers being thankfully lower at the moment, I am able to make these changes.
I have worked it so that there will be 2 staff members from each room on a 2 w
