The children have been raising money for Comic Relief by doing 20 star jumps every day from Monday 15th March to Friday 19th March. A huge THANK YOU from all the children and staff to one of our very talented mummies! These were a yummy treat at the end of the week after all those star jumps!
Today the children celebrated St Patrick’s Day. They used lots of different resources to create shamrocks. This included play dough, biscuit making and potato stamping. They also decorated paper snakes as legend has it that St Patrick drove all the snakes of Ireland in to the sea to save the Irish people!
This morning Lambs have been painting using natural resources. They used sticks, flowers and their fingers to create paintings on tin foil, plastic sheets and card. They are learning that it’s not just paintbrushes and paper they can use to paint. The children were all fully engaged and there was lots of chat between them about the marks they were making and the different resources they chose to use.
The children have had a fun time this morning in the rain using their bikes and scooters to make patterns in the powder paint. They were very excited to see how the colours changed once mixed together.
