World Book Day

Good morning to you all. Lambs worked on their personal, physical & maths skills over Greentrees hall last week. They had the beams out and did lots of balancing on them counting their steps as they went. The children were very helpful to each other offering help to their friends if they needed it. 👫👭👬 They had lots of fun on Pancake day doing a range of activities.....Pancake tasting, tossing the Pancake, story time was ' The Runaway Pancake' and at circle time talked about what they do at home on Pancake Day. The children made daffodil egg box pictures for St Davids Day and looked up on the internet the flag of Wales 🐲 Their cooking activity was Cheese scones 😋 Piglets went to Greentrees hall they also practiced walking/balancing on the beams and climbing on & off the apparatus. They enjoyed pancake tasting at snack time and for St Davids Day they painted daffodils, painted with leeks and cooked Welsh cakes. They turned their home corner in to a construction site. This led to some wonderful imaginary play where the children used the resources to help extend their play. Their cooking activity was Cheese scones and they were very yummy !! 😋😋 Outside the children got very muddy & wet jumping in puddles and exploring the sand and soil. On Thursday all the children brought in their favourite books from home to celebrate World book day 🌏📚 It was lovely to see them all sharing their books with each other.
