Happy Bonfire Weekend
Good evening to you all. I hope you had a safe but fun fireworks night đĽ Last week Lambs had a fun time over the hall. They played musical statues where they had to have good listening and concentration skills đźđŤThey also practiced their ball skills catching and throwing to each other â˝ď¸âžď¸đž The children have been working hard on their fine motor skills with lots of pasta threading and cutting activities. They chose items out of brochures to cut out. They have also been working on their shape recognition. There has been lots of working together in small group activities, turn taking, making choices & decisions by playing group games. Piglets have been playing with small world resources, garage & cars đ,wooden dolls house & furniture đĄ, train track & trains đ. There has been lots of imaginative play. All the children have been learning about different festivals. They made Dawali sweet cakes for the festival of light and afterwards made rangoli patterns on the playground with chalks. We all learnt about staying safe on bonfire night đĽ with Fireman Sam ! Lambs made firework pictures using cardboard tubes and paint đĽ Piglets used a large piece of black material, spray bottles, paint and glitter to make a firework display. When it was dry they they used it in their book corner. To top it all off we had hot chocolate outside in the garden !! âď¸
