Rehearsals underway for our Christmas Sing Song

Good evening to you all. I hope you've had a fab weekend. We have had a very 'spotty' week at preschool this week raising money for Children in Need. Both rooms have had fun with spots from wearing them to cooking with them !! Our spotty activities have included finger painting, spot dabbing on Pudsey bears, counting spots, cutting out and decorating Pudsey bears, making cookies covered in spots and to top it all a visit from the big yellow bear himself.... I'm not sure who was more excited the staff or the children !!!! 🐻🐻🐻🐻 Lambs went over Greentrees on Monday where they practiced their balancing and concentration skills putting bean bags on their heads and standing on one leg. They worked together in teams and did excellent turn taking. Piglets have been experimenting with different resources to make marks, patterns and shapes from cotton buds to potatoes, learning shape recognition. They have been working on their fine motor skills by using tweezers to put Pom poms in to tubing. Outside the children have been doing lots of mark making, using paints, chalks, crayons on a large and small scale. Colouring in pictures in books, chalking on the playground and painting on the easel. All the children have started practicing Christmas songs for our 'Christmas Sing Song' 🎅🏻🎄
