It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas
Good evening to you all. I hope you've had a good weekend. This week has been all about Christmas ๐ ๐plus a few other things !! Lambs did the obstacle course and practiced their roly poly's over Greentrees hall on Monday. Lots of gross motor movements, jumping, balancing and pushing. They have been playing with our Jenga and memory games. Working in small groups using their concentration and listening skills. Turn taking and working together ๐ซ๐ซ Their cooking activity was fruit buns where they counted, weighed and measured out the ingredients.... they smelt yummy ! ๐๐ Their Christmas activities have included decorating Christmas wreaths and cutting out and decorating stars for their class advent calendar. Have a look it's fab !!! ๐๐ Piglets have been exploring mark making using their hands and fingers in porridge oats and shaving foam to make marks and patterns. Their cooking activities have been peppermint creams and chocolate sparklers which they ate at snack time and also baking biscuits where they took it in turns to count and measure out the ingredients. After they were cooked the children decorated them with icing sugar and sprinkles. Both rooms have been practicing their Christmas songs ready for our sing song on the 8th December ๐ผ๐ผ๐ผ Outside the children have been drawing and colouring. Transporting water from the water tray to the tubes where they put cars and water down the tubes. The children worked together to see how was best to transport the water to the tubes.... excellent team work !!! ๐๐
