The Tiger Who Came to Tea - Lambs

Lambs book of the week was The Tiger Who Came to Tea by Judith Kerr. The children had a tea party in the garden, made tigers out of play dough, tiger cupcakes, decorated and cut out tiger masks and enjoyed the story at circle time. There was lots of fine motor skills used throughout the week, making tea…pouring, squeezing and mixing. Manipulating the play dough…pinching and kneading. Using pencils & crayons…pincher and tripod grip. There were lovely conversations throughout the activities, from who was making tea, how they would shape their play dough tigers and how their cupcakes had tiger stripes. Another fab week of fun activities!! Well done Lambs!
